Kimley-Horn has a Part-Time Receptionist position (25 hours/week) in our Orange, California office. This individual’s primary role is to provide daily front desk receptionist duties by answering and redirecting calls received through the general office

number as well as greeting visitors. This role will also provide secondary and back-up support to the lead Administrative/Production Assistant. The hours are 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Front desk reception coverage

  • answering and redirecting calls received through general office number, greeting visitors at front desk * Provide secondary and back-up administrative support to full-time Administrative Assistant. Secondary tasks may include: processing and distributing mail; preparing packages for shipment; assisting with meeting and training coordination and set-up; orderingfood and supplies; document production including typing, editing, copying, printing or scanning; kitchen and production room inventory; coordinating repair service and follow-up for office equipment; other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a receptionist/administrative assistant * Polished and professional, exceptional customer service and friendly personality a must! * Strong Microsoft Office skills – Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer * Proficiency with basic office equipment: copier, printer, scanner, fax * Highly organized and detail oriented * Positive, client-oriented, take-charge attitude * Excellent typing and grammar and punctuation skills * Successfully manage and balance multiple tasks and priorities
