Sovereign Health Content Writer in San Clemente, California

Job Description: Reporting to the Content Writer Team Lead, the Content Writer coordinates various research projects, producing quality content for internal and external publications which communicate the culture of the Sovereign Health Group.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Efficiently produces high quality, original content on a consistent basis, within set timelines, for Sovereign Health facilities, as well as other, online products.

    1. Conducts thorough research to write in the field of behavioral health.
  2. Is responsible for brainstorming and developing new ideas for content.

  3. Reports information back to the Content Writer Team Lead on a regular and consistent basis.

    1. Adheres to company policies and standard operating procedures.

    2. Attends meetings, as required and works closely with colleagues, sharing new information with regard to all research projects and company products.

  4. Other duties in relation to research and production as requested by the Content Writer Team Lead.


Qualifications and Experience: The Content Writer should be a college graduate at minimum. They should have good, clear writing and editing skills in working on articles and other written content. Attentive to detail and able to work effectively with minimal supervision, the Content Writer will also have strong computer skills. Skills and Competency: The candidate will be expected to have high levels of ability in grammar, spelling and style guidelines. They must have the skills and competency to communicate with people of all levels of the organization and, on occasion, external agencies. They must be agreeable and professional whilst being able to gather information and incorporate it into written content. Accurate information gathering is essential as is the ability to work to tight deadlines whilst working effectively. The successful candidate will possess the ability to listen actively when spoken to and effectively communicate their thoughts to others. They will be sensitive to religious, ethnic and cultural differences in others and display respect and empathy. They will be able to work alone but also as a team, with fellow staff, in the business setting and will actively seek out advice and/or guidance in order to solve problems. The successful candidate will have good time management skills and will actively seek to accomplish tasks and be able to use a variety of methods and ideas to solve problems whilst being open to suggestions from others in order to find solutions.
