Job Description Summary

Our team is looking for a Healthcare Analytics Data Scientist that can develop actionable research questions, prepare and analyze datasets, develop predictive models and present key findings to stakeholders in a clear way. This person should be capable of completing projects from text analysis to machine learning, and can apply these skills to various topics to support medication management solutions and customer service organizations.
The core responsibilities include:
Performing analytical investigations in support of customer service optimization and making initial recommendations.
Data mining, developing predictive models and conducting data experiments to verify assumptions and hypothesis.
Extracting and preparing data sets from various sources including Hadoop, SQL Server, and flat files.
Developing visualizations to help explain patterns and trends in large data volumes
Aiding in the deployment of decision automation models into the operational landscape
Required Work Experience
2+ years conducting data mining and predictive analysis with basic and advanced statistical techniques, using statistical software packages (e.g., SAS, R) and programming languages
2+ years visualizing data and communicating complex information to technical and non-technical audiences
Strong experience with BI tools, data extraction, data manipulation and analysis (SQL).
Knowledge/Experience with Big Data, Hadoop tools preferred
Experience in health care/ medical device industry experience preferred
Experience with customer service operations analytics preferred
Bachelor Degree or higher in Statistics, Math, Management Science or related field required
Master's Degree or higher in Statistics, Math, Management Science or related field preferred
Strong communications skills, good self-starter, strong troubleshooting skills, ability to proactively manage project tasks.
Be a good data story teller with understanding of how visualizations can aid understanding.
Curiosity to pursue self-directed data analysis paths.
Ability to cultivate and maintain productive working relationships with internal business partners
