Kitchell is seeking an experienced Human Resource Business Partner who can help us grow our company. The ideal candidate will provide support in the overall operation of the Human Resource function, including but not limited to benefits administration, wellness, recruiting, compliance, employee relations and much more.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Post and administer benefit orientation for new hires and rehires

  • Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment

  • Implement and monitor Workplace Harrassment Training bi-annually

  • Administer and coordinate the employee service awared/recognition program

  • Coordinates all company job descriptions for current and approved versions; monitors proper use of job titles and job codes

  • Assist in employee relations issues, documentation and meetings

  • Assist in unemployment hearings, documentations and hearings

  • Initiate, trains and monitor the company performance management process

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Knowledge of HR business trends and practices and federal and state employment laws

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to initiate, build, and manage effective business relationships

Required Experience and Education:

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resource or Business Administration or equivalent education or experience

  • Must have strong California labor law, employment and compliance experience

  • PHR preferred
