Edwards Lifesciences Associate Analyst, Customer Operations in Irvine, California

The Associate Analyst, Customer Operations will plan, test and implement enabling technology and provide training and support for Edwards Lifesciences customers, distributors and customer operations team members. The main focus will be to leverage and enhance technology to increase customer loyalty and operational efficiency through innovation. This includes, but is not limited, to standard EDI connectivity, web ordering (MyEdwards.com), as well as transactions through exchanges such as the Global Healthcare Exchange (GHX).

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Create reports to monitor usage of MyEdwards.com and develop user training and user support materials.

  • Respond to Customer Operations ongoing technological needs.

  • Act as the primary liaison with Corporate IT team for the Sales and Distribution module of JD Edwards and the Accounts Receivable Workbench tool (GetPaid).

  • Maintain and improve existing systems and equipment; participate in identifying specification for system enhancements; as well as participate in unit, integration and acceptance testing.




  • BS/BA degree and a minimum of two years related experience.

  • High degree of accuracy

  • Good time management and organizational ability

  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work well in a matrix environment is essential.

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office.

  • MS Access knowledge and experience strongly preferred.

  • Experience in mainframe ERP/MRP systems, web-based applications and commercial collections software is required.

  • Must possess good judgment, decision-making, analytical and negotiation skills.

  • High attention to detail, results orientation and project management experience. Independent initiative and follow-through.
