We are in need of an experienced SAP Developer to join our SAP Development team in San Diego, CA.


  • As a an experienced Developer, designs and develops complex ABAP developments including SAP Fiori UI5.

  • Develops and maintain existing Workflows.

  • Involved in Technical architecting end to end process.

  • Develops ABAP code using established development methodologies and standards/SDLC.

  • Creates test data to unit test all functions of the workflows or coded programs.

  • Researches and resolves production problems. Is responsible for debugging and modifying programs, IDoc or workflows, as required.

  • Performs Code review from simple to complex ABAP programs in an efficient manner.

  • Has the ability to learn new technologies and processes quickly. Keeps up with new SAP programming developments to ensure that functionality is implemented in the optimal manner.

  • Competent at scheduling and monitoring batch jobs.

  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Job Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor degree in Information Technology or related discipline and 9 or more years of progressive professional experience in SAP Technical area, Equivalent professional experience may be substituted in lieu of education.

  • Extremely strong on all aspects of ABAP/4 like Administration Workbench, Workflows, Object oriented Programming, IDocs, USER EXITS/Enhancements, SAP Scripts, SmartForms, RFC/BAPI and Dialog Programming.

  • Hands-on experience in SAP Fiori UI5 & OData services, building SAP HANA CDS views & SQL scripts

  • Strong skill on ABAP/HANA Performance and Tuning, including HANA optimizations

  • Good knowledge in doing Code review and using related tools & procedures

  • Should have extensive in-depth knowledge of the database tables underlying at least 3 of the ERP modules: FI-CO, SD, PS, MM, WM, PP, QM,

  • Must possess the ability to follow best practices regarding programming standards, documentation and unit testing

  • Must be able to develop programs in a fast-paced environment and multi-task

  • Must demonstrate a thorough understanding of SAP methodology, principles, theories, concepts and techniques; and leadership skills including planning, scheduling, and coordinating work assignments to meet project milestones or established completion dates

  • Must possess the ability to contribute to the development of new processes, as well as effectively identify, analyze and resolve highly complex technical issues

  • Must be customer focused, demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report, and present findings, and possess excellent interpersonal skills to interface with all levels of employees.

  • Experience working in Aerospace & Defense and/or manufacturing industry would be preferred but not required

  • Must be able to maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information

  • Must possess excellent computer skills.

  • Must be open to working extended hours and minimal travel maybe required between companies
